An application to help split shared expenses and calculate who owes what to whom.

Lets say youre on a trip with some friends. On the first day you pay for fuel, one of your friends pays for lunch and another one pays for dinner. The next day, whatever your expenses will be, you never know who will pay for what. But you and your friends know that in the end all expenses will have to be splitted equally and settlements will have to be made. What a nightmare!

Another scenario. Lets say you share a house with some roommates. You obviously need some sort of account management between all of you. Its just like splitting expenses on that trip but like, forever...

Wouldnt it be great to have an app to keep track of all expenses and who paid them, plus doing calculations in the end to find out who owes what to whom? Enter SplitDaddy!

SplitDaddy is an app you use to keep track of all your group expenses and at any time you can view and share by email a report that contains not only a list of all expenses and who paid for what, but also an indication on how to settle debts by telling you who owes what to whom.

You open SplitDaddy and you create an event like Trip to NY or House Account.
For each event youre able to choose a different currency than your default one because, for instance, we may be talking about a trip overseas where youll be spending Euros instead of Dollars.
Then youll define a set of participants in that event. You can choose people from your contact list to speed up things.
After that youre set to start keeping track of expenses, adding them as their happening so nothing gets forgotten.
In the end, just view the report and share it by mail with the participants so every one gets to know who owes what to whom.
Keep track of the settlements and when every one paid their dues youll just have a reminder of the wonderful times you spent with your friends.
